Our HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) sessions aim at improving your cardiovascular fitness by alternating short bursts of maximum effort exercise with low intensity recovery periods.
The goal of each interval is to push your body to the point of exhaustion, then to recover during allotted rest periods so that repeat efforts can be made.
The work-to-rest ratios vary from session to session to mix things up and keep the classes interesting.
A range of training equipment is incorporated in our HIIT classes, including rowers, bikes, sleds, ropes, tyres, dumbbells and barbells, as well as sprints and high intensity bodyweight movements.
